It is said that every woman loves shoes. The idea to create a show called "
Shoes" just might have been inspired by somebody in the marketing department of Sadler's Wells. But... the show was developed with top musicians and choreographers, including Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and that pretty much makes up for anything and everything. He is without any doubt one of the most talented choreographers at work today. The production Sutra he made earlier in co-production with Sadler's Wells was mind blowing. I'm looking forward to his interpretation of the "shoes" theme...
And yes, London is still one of the most vibrant cities in the world. The people are beautiful. The sound of the streets is inspiring. Having a meeting in London, no matter how serious, is always special. Yes... I have the best job in the world!
