Ice on your record player

Over the years PR companies and press agents have been very creative to get their (press)release noticed by journalists. I remember boxes filled with sand, envelopes filled with glitter, even a bottle of wine that included the aromatic elements that were to be discovered in the heavenly red liquid. Today, on I came across yet another creative approach. This one is from the music industry, which is struggling hard as it is. The members of the Swedish band Shout Out Louds have created ten boxes, containing a plastic record-shaped mould and a bottle of water. The boxes were sent out to press reviewers (and a few fans). The idea has definitely resulted in extra attention for the band, but still... I feel sorry for the record player...
