I saw an extraordinary show tonight: Bale de Rua. Excellently danced, passionate, pure,... (you know the list...) This is one of the shows to keep an eye on. It was sexy, hot and very new. I like the way this company combines street dance (hence the name of the company...) and classical and contemporary dance. One of the awkward, yet touching moments was the Brazilian rendition of Schubert's "Ave maria". The all male (but one, and believe me, what a one) cast dances, in dresses, a tribute to Our Lady.Paris adored the company, the show ran a month longer than planned. Tonight was one of the last performances. If you see the poster in your town, GO SEE IT!
