During "Montréal complètement cirque" the Montreal based contemporary circus company Les 7 Doigts de la Main premiered its highly awaited new production Séquence 8. It's actually the 8th show the company produces in 10 years, quite a high rate... Still, the new production has awed both press and spectators. Yesterday La Presse published its review. This is the kind of review artists and promoters dream about at night. From the title - "La Magie des 7 Doigts" - down to every last word, the reviewer stands in utter admiration. It has become a trademark for the company to bring productions that get very personal and stand close to the audience. Apparently, this is the case once more. And this is exactly what is pulling a whole new audience to circus theater. Like the New York Times put it: Cirque du Soleil leaves you in awe, Les 7 Doigts de la Main puts you on the edge of your seat. Oh... and they are performing TRACES in Kursaal Oostende this September.
