The international show production Mayumana has left Ostend, but... the next run was schedule before the cast & crew left Belgium last Monday. In January 2008 they are back with a special "Winter Edition".By now the show drew over 70 000 spectators in Belgium. The Broadway version of the show - Be - has also been reaping rave reviews in New York City. The American audiences are equally enthousiastic about this crazy troup of artists.
For Kursaal Oostende, Shakalaka! will also be responsible for the communication and marketing for the next run of the show. Apart from the new Mayumana run, a new production is also scheduled for September 2007. "Tap Dogs" will take the stage from 12 to 16 September. A part of the profits of this run will be donated to the Red Cross, that is organizing an international congress in Ostend at the same time.
