During a recent interview with Petula Clark she was asked what she would advise young people who aspire to become a star. She answered: "Becoming a star is not hard, especially nowadays. You can become a star overnight. The difficult part is remaining a star." Dido's new album, to be released this spring, is called Girl who got away and that is exactly what she did for five years. She got out of the spot lights, she started a family and quietly continued working on new material. The new album is largely produced by her brother and Faithless superstar Rollo. She says she had a lot of fun making the album, especially because there was absolutely no pressure. The first single No Freedom is set for release on 24 February. Fingers crossed that Dido can indeed remain a star.
